It occurs when I take my foot off the gas and the engine. But starts again as soon as I press the gas again. Carburetor may have a bad accelerator pump or power circuit. Sometimes, the noise is not differential-related, but is caused by other driveline or axle components. I have 2000 Chevy blazer 4wd LS. We had it in the rack and the universal joints are fine and I was told there was recently a new rear rear installed 3:42. As long as the foot is pressing down the throttle it makes the rattling noise. For some reason evrytime I have my foot on the gas theres a high pitched tinging or pinging sound. When accelerating after decelerating "clunk" noise from underneath / back of vehicle.
